Smithsonian National Zoo’s Cheetah Cubs Undergo First Vetrinary Exam

There is almost nothing more adorable than baby animals. If you’re looking for a fun outing for the whole family, you might want to look into visiting your local zoo or wildlife center to see the newest babies.

If you live near the National Zoo’s Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Virginia, you’ve undoubtedly heard of the five new cheetah cubs that have been all the rage.

Born this past May, the babies have undergone their first veterinary exam and have been declared healthy. At six weeks, the cubs weigh between four and five pounds each, and no abnormalities have been detected.
